Description

A fine Japanese Meiji period (1868-1912) ceramic censer in yellow, cobalt, and white drip glaze with a cherry blossom finial to the lid. The interior is unglazed and remains its original earthenware colour. In excellent condition, the piece has some minor crazing to the glaze which is typical of ceramic pieces of this era.
