The piece which dates to the 1950s takes the form of a vine leaf and is set with 57 brilliant cut diamonds ranging from light yellow to deep brown in colour. The piece whilst not signed 'Boivin', is accompanied by an attestation (certificate) from the leading French jewellery expert Jean-Norbert Salit, stating that the piece is the work of Rene Boivin and dates it to circa 1950.
