
A rare, Venetian Rococo commode with a serpentine front, raised by cabriole legs ending in carved goat hooves, circa 1760s. The piece is decorated with handpainted scenes of mythical figures including Mercury and Argus, Diana and Faunus, Apollo, Minerva, and others.
Dimensions: 90cm H x 124cm W x 60cm D
Condition: This piece has been mostly left in it's original 18th century condition with the exception of some repairs to the legs and the loss of the locks.
