Crafted from 18 karat white gold this ring has been set with diamonds and centres on a gorgeous Ceylon sapphire. The white gold mount has been set with a mixture of round brilliant cut, princess cut, and tapered baguette cut diamonds which range from G to J in colour and from VS to I2 in clarity. The central Ceylon sapphire is a 'round mixed cut' stone which is a fine deep blue and is eye clean weighing 2.70 carat. The ring has fine millgrain detailing which is often seen in Art Deco jewellery and lends itself nicely to the design of this particular ring. There are two very slight 'leaf' type motifs to the inside of the shoulders of the ring which not only stabilises the piece when on the finger, but also protect the finger from the points of the diamonds. The ring presents in as new condition with the only flaw being a slight chip to one of the tapered baguette diamonds, which is not noticeable to the naked eye. An absolutely knockout Ceylonese sapphire ring which could be purposed as an engagement ring for a bride who wants a point of difference.
