Tiffany & Company Art Nouveau Opal Set Stick Pin

Crafted from 18 karat yellow gold and set with rose cut diamonds and a cabochon opal, this stick pin was made by esteemed jewellers, Tiffany & Company. The 18 karat yellow gold mount has been set with a four claw set cabochon milky white opal, likely Australian, which has been accented with four rose cut diamonds. There is some delicate white enamelling surrounding the opal and diamonds which is extremely fine and beautifully executed. The pin of the piece is marked 'Tiffany & Co' and it also retains its original silk lined retailing box which is branded for Tiffany & Co of New York and Paris. We date the manufacture of the pin to circa 1915, the height of Tiffany & Company when their label produced the some of the finest jewellery and luxury products in the world. This pin is in exceedingly good condition for its age with only some minor wear and losses to the enamelling, which is expected for a piece of this age. An exquisite addition to a gentleman's tie or lapel, but could also be a beautiful accent on a lady's hat or scarf.
