Description

Crafted from 18 karat white and yellow gold, this pair of exquisite ear clips are set with deep blue turquoise and diamonds. The ear clips are shaped like a teardrop and each centre on a pear shaped cabochon piece of what is very likely Persian turquoise. These pieces of turquoise have been beautifully matched and are each five claw set with yellow gold. Surrounding each turquoise drop are 20 round brilliant cut diamonds which graduate in size to the very bottom of each ear clip where the largest stone is present. The two largest stones in the pair are of F/G colour and SI-I1 clarity and weigh approximately 0.45 carat each. The balance of the diamonds in the clips are each of F-I colour and VS-SI clarity, and combined with the two larger stones amass approximately 4.90 carat. The diamonds are all claw set in white gold which shows up their colour beautifully. To the rear each piece is fitted with a yellow gold keyhole clip, which are both working well and are secure, ensuring they stay firmly on the ear. The quality of both the turquoise and the diamonds in this pair of ear clips is exceptional and they would be an incredible addition to an evening gown for a formal event.
