Victorian 18kt Yellow Gold & Garnet Stick Pin

Crafted from 18 karat yellow gold this gorgeous stick pin has been set with an oval cabochon garnet. The yellow gold mount whilst unmarked has been tested as being 18 karat and the head of the pin features a really gorgeous carbuncle garnet which is a deep red colour and is cabochon cut. The closed back setting features what appears to be the original yellow gold pin and the piece also retains its original fitted box from a retailer named A J Fraser of Preston in Lancashire, England. The pin is in very good overall condition with very minor signs of wear and use, with the physical stick pin still incredibly straight given its age. A really lovely addition to a man's lapel or a nice accessory to a ladies hat brim.
