Antique Style Yellow Gold Ring with Old Mine Cut Diamond

Whilst this ring is of recent manufacture, it combines a wonderful old mine cut diamond with an antique style setting to give a beautiful and wearable look. The hefty 18 karat yellow gold mount centres on a substantial 1.73 carat old mine cut diamond of K/L colour and SI1 clarity that has been eight claw set in a mount that could be referred to as being 'gypsy' in style. The diamond was a stone we had loose in our collection and decided to have it made into a ring that could be worn by a man or a woman with ease, and has a minimal amount of ornamentation. Due to the simple manufacture of the ring shank, the piece can be sized up or down within moderation. A really lovely antique inspired ring with a beautiful old cut diamond, ready to become a modern day heirloom.
