Impressive 8.10ct Diamond Solitaire Ring

The handmade 18 karat yellow gold and platinum mount features an 8 claw set 'semi modern' brilliant cut diamond of substantial size. This diamond has been graded as being of M colour and P1 clarity weighing 8.10 carat. The handmade ring was crafted in Brisbane by AG Designer Jeweller and utilises a monumental stone which has been set in what many refer to as a 'Tiffany setting'. The Tiffany setting was first introduced in 1886 by Charles Lewis Tiffany and was a departure from the more ornate rub-over settings of the Victorian period. Whilst this particular ring is much alike the Tiffany setting, the traditional version from 1886 features six claws, while this ring has eight, a necessity given the size of the diamond. Whilst the colour and clarity of this particular diamond are slightly down the scale, the sheer size is hard to go past! A tremendous ring for a bride who wants a serious piece of bling, or an equally nice gift to self.
