A pair of Biedermeier chairs crafted from elmwood in Central Europe, circa the 1840s. The pair have been reupholstered in a new Jim Thompson, 100% silk, 'Persian Blue' fabric in the traditional method of upholstery. Often paired with Art Deco furniture, Biedermeier pieces like this pair of chairs are both charming in their age and wholly modern in design.
