One of our favourite jewellers is the Greek company, Lalaounis. Founded by Ilias Lalaounis, the firm is famous for their buttery yellow gold jewels which are often in the Etruscan Revival taste. This pair of ear pendants are in the form of 18 karat yellow gold leaf studs from which stems three gold chains which terminate with a further gold leaf, each at different lengths. Hallmarked to the rear of the clips for Lalaounis, the pair are also stamped for manufacture from 18 karat yellow gold. The earrings don't have a great deal of age associated with them, and were probably manufactured within the last 20 or so years. When worn with movement the pair make the most lovely jingle sound, almost reminiscent of a pair of wind chimes. A beautiful pair of summery earrings which would look lovely paired with a summery dress.
