Heavy 18kt Yellow Gold Woven Bracelet

This hefty bracelet has been manufactured from 18 karat gold, likely in the second half of the 20th Century. The bracelet which has a woven like appearance features and tongue and box clasp which is working well, along with two figure of 8 safety catches which are both secure. The overall texture of the exterior side of the bracelet is perhaps what is best known as a Florentine finish which gives the gold a matte yet silky appearance and feel. The remarkable thing about this bracelet is the sheer weight of it, 56 grams in total, meaning you definitely know you have it on when you are wearing it. The piece is marked '750' for the gold purity, however the maker's mark alongside it is unfortunately rubbed and illegible. A really beautiful piece of jewellery which would likely become a daily staple in your jewel collection.
