This striking and undeniably architectural bracelet was made by the London jeweller, Rodney Rayner. The piece has been manufactured from 18 karat rose gold and whilst of fairly recent manufacture is beautifully crafted. The bracelet which hinges open at the rear is signed for manufacture by Rayner along with a group of British gold hallmarks indicating it was manufactured in London in 2007. The top section of the bracelet has been set with six citrine and six smokey quartz which have but cut as rectangular or square pyramid cabochons. These smokey quartz and citrine pyramids are accented with 51 round brilliant cut diamonds which are each of F colour and VS clarity totalling 1.28 carat. Rayner has been crafting high jewellery since 1981 and this cuff bracelet is a perfect example of why he has won so many awards for his designs. In very good vintage condition the bracelet features a concealed tongue and box clasp which is in good order and is working well. An absolutely breathtaking piece of modernist jewellery which will undoubtedly receive envious glances.
