This sweet ring has been crafted out of 18 karat white gold and set with a central moonstone and 42 diamonds. The central cushion cabochon cut moonstone is set in four split claws which have been black rhodium plated. The moonstone is surrounded by a halo of round brilliant cut diamonds which also extend down to cover the shoulders of the ring. In total 42 brilliant cut diamonds are in this piece, each is in a cut down claw setting, and are all of H colour and SI clarity totalling 0.40 carat. The central moonstone can be described as 'white translucent with a faint rainbow hue' and catches the light beautifully. Due to the construction of this ring, changes in size can only be very minimal to avoid loosening the diamonds. A beautiful 'sparkler' that will dazzle in the evening light.
