It's no secret that we adore pieces by Tiffany & Co, and this sapphire and diamond bar brooch pin is no exception. Likely crafted in the 1950s or 1960s the bar brooch has been crafted from 18 karat yellow gold and has been set with diamonds and sapphires. The 15 stones comprise of ten carrae cut 'medium blue' sapphires that total 2.0 carat and five brilliant cut diamonds of F colour and VS clarity totalling 0.50 carat. The closure of the piece features a hinged pin and roller clasp which is working well and is secure. This beautifully crafted piece would lend itself to so many uses, on the brim of a hat, to go through a mens tie, to sit on the lapel of a coat or to fasten two sides of a shirt together at the collar, the options are endless.
