18kt Yellow Gold, Hermes Paris Ear Clips

This wonderful pair of 18 karat yellow gold ear clips were made by the French maker Hermes. Crafted from solid 18 karat yellow gold the pair feature a sprung clip fitting to the rear which is working well on both pieces. The ear clips are stylised 'knockers' and feature a ribbed curve to the front which appear to 'hang' from a gold circle, however they are fixed to each other. The pair are marked for retail by 'Hermes Paris' however also are marked with a French goldsmiths mark which we are unable to identify. Hermes were known for their gold jewellery in the mid 20th Century and often worked with French goldsmith Georges L'Enfant to create beautiful pieces. A beautiful pair of ear clips which could be worn daily with ease.
