Crafted from 18 karat yellow gold and set with green grossular garnet, this unusual ring is undeniably modernist in its design. The ring which has marks indicating it was manufactured in Spain is likely to have been manufactured in the 1970s, however its maker is unknown. The piece is unusual in that it features a square shank, unlike most rings which are crafted with a round shank. The ring is set with a pair of cubes of green grossular garnet, an unusual stone, however fitting for such a modernist piece. Unfortunately due to the construction of this ring the piece is unable to be resized without altering its appearance significantly. We adore the uniqueness of this ring and can imagine it worn by a lover of modernist jewellery or even someone working in architecture.
