A mid-19th century, English, davenport by TH Filmer & Sons of London in an attractive burl walnut with inlay.
T.H. Filmer & Sons, a cabinet makers and upholsterers, was established by Thomas Henry Filmer in 1835 in Berners Street, London and later in Oxford Street, they produced many items including a table that was exhibited in the 1862 International Exhibition in London.
