Art Nouveau Emerald and Diamond Necklace

Set with diamonds and emeralds, this delightful Art Nouveau necklace is beautifully handmade and dates to the early 20th Century. The pendant necklace has been crafted from several metals including platinum, 18 karat yellow and white gold and finished with a 9 karat gold cable chain. The pendant features two pear shaped emeralds which are moderately included, a very good green and have been bezel set in platinum. The balance of the pendant features delicate scroll motifs, synonymous with the Nouveau period, which have been set with old European cut and single cut diamonds, each of G-J colour and VS to I1 clarity totalling 1.85 carat. The chain which the pendant is attached to is crafted from 9 karat white gold in a cable link which terminates with a cylinder box/snap clasp. A gorgeous piece from the Nouveau era which is ready for its rebirth in the 21st Century.
