This tricolour 18 karat gold 'Trinity' ring was made by Cartier in the later part of the 20th Century. First produced by Cartier in 1924, the Trinity ring is said to have been first made for Jean Cocteau by Louis Cartier as Cocteau wanted a jewel inspired by the rings around the planet Saturn.
