A pair of 19th-century French pate-sur-pate (paste on paste) porcelain vases depicting water cranes in the Japanese taste by Charles Pillivuyt Cie set with ormolu mounts by the Ferdinand Barbedienne foundry.

Measures: 36cm H, 14.4cm W (outer bronze rim)

Marked: Bronze is marked for the F. Barbedienne foundry, Porcelain 'CP & Co', 'Mehum' for Charles Pillivuyt Cie (active 1850-1910)
