Crafted from platinum and set with a pink sapphire and two old cut diamonds, this ring really is a shining beauty. Whilst the ring is of no great age, it has been crafted in an antique style and utilised old European cut diamonds. The central square cushion cut pink sapphire has been estimated to be 1.44 carat in size and is six claw set. To either side of the sapphire is an old European cut diamond which are both graded to be of H colour and SI1-SI2 clarity and in total the pair weigh 0.66 carat. The ring has simply been marked 'PLAT' for platinum, so it is difficult to ascertain its origin and period of manufacture, however it is likely to have been made in the second half of the 20th century. A really beautiful dress ring for a girly girl, or an unusual engagement ring for someone who wants a point of difference.
