Crafted from platinum and set with a central yellow sapphire surrounded by diamonds, this ring has been made in the Art Deco taste. The platinum mount centres on an Australian type yellow sapphire which is octagonal step cut and weighs approximately 1.28 carat. This sapphire is surrounded by a halo of round brilliant cut diamonds which continue down the shoulders of the shank slightly and are each of G/H colour and SI-I1 clarity totalling 0.53 carat. The elegant way the diamonds have been graduated in a fan shape down the shoulders undoubtedly references jewellery of the Art Deco period. This delightful piece gives the illusion of Art Deco glamour without the Art Deco price tag, and would be a delightful addition to a jewel collectors repertoire.
