This Art Deco style ring has been handcrafted from platinum and set with diamonds and a central Australian type yellow sapphire. The ring features an emerald cut 1.20 carat 'bright mid yellow lightly included' Australian type sapphire which is likely to have originated around the Rubyvale area of central Queensland and has been four claw set. The remainder of the 'halo' which surrounds the sapphire comprises of 10 round brilliant cut diamonds of G/H colour and P1 clarity totalling 0.45 carat. To present the ring the jeweller has opted for a mille grain finish to the edges of the settings which is seen in period pieces of Art Deco jewellery.
