This set of six chairs were designed by Ludwig Mies Van Der Rohe (1886-1969) and executed by Knoll in a design known as MR10. Mies Van Der Rohe first designed the MR10 in 1927 and since then they have become a design classic. The designer was known for an attitude of 'less is more' and this is evidenced in both his architectural and furniture designs. This set of MR10 chairs whilst not original, were likely produced sometime in the 1970s and retain fragments of their Knoll retailing labels to the underside. Knoll is known to be a licensed producer of famous design classics and this set is a high-quality examples of that. Crafted from chromed steel and brown leather.
Condition: Minor wear to the leather and some scuffs to the legs commensurate with age and use.
