An excellent example of English 'Regency' furniture in the form of a side/dressing table crafted from mahogany. The bow-fronted table features two drawers to the front and is supported by four tapered rings turned legs typical of the Regency period. The drawers of the piece are beautifully made with dovetail joints and the fronts are fitted with two round brass drawer pulls. There is some simple banded inlay to the underside of the drawers, possibly ebony. This lovely table dates to circa 1820 and has been professionally restored ready for placement.
