Crafted from 14 karat yellow gold and set with Bohemian garnets, this ring is a delightful example of jewellery from the Czech Republic. The ring centres on an oval cabochon garnet which is surrounded by a double halo of faceted garnets which have all been set in 14 karat gold. In the side profile image you can see that the halos are stepped, giving the ring height on the finger when worn. Known for deposits of rich red garnets, Bohemia, or the modern day Czech Republic is famous for their garnet set jewellery. Whilst this ring is perhaps only 30 or 40 years old, it is a beautiful example of Czech craftsmanship and set with well matched rich red garnets.
